Manage Dashboards

From the Dashboards menu you can browse all pre-built and custom dashboards organised into folders.

  • Use the search bar to find any dashboard or folder by name.
  • Use Filter by tag to narrow by category.
  • Tick Starred to show only dashboards you have favourited.
  • Click the star icon on any open dashboard to add it to your favourites.
  • Use the time picker inside a dashboard to adjust the time range. Highlighting a specific timeframe on a chart updates all panels on that dashboard.
  • Use Sort and the grid/list toggle to change how dashboards are displayed.

Copy an existing dashboard

Copying an existing dashboard is the fastest way to build a customised view — start from a pre-built dashboard rather than from scratch.

Step 1 — Navigate to the dashboard you want to copy.

Step 2 — Click the Dashboard settings icon (cog) in the header.

Step 3 — Select Save as to open the Save dashboard copy screen.

Step 4 — Update the name in the Dashboard name field if required, and select General from the Folder dropdown.

Step 5 — Click Save.

The copy opens immediately and is fully editable.

Save a dashboard

Changes to a dashboard are not persisted until you explicitly save.

  • Click the save icon in the dashboard header, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S / Cmd+S.
  • Enter a brief description of your changes in the Save changes dialog.
  • Click Save.

Tip

Use meaningful save messages — they appear in the dashboard version history and make it easier to roll back if needed.

Dashboard settings

Access Dashboard settings (cog icon in the header) to update:

  • Dashboard name and description
  • Folder location
  • Tags
  • Time range defaults and refresh intervals
  • Variable definitions (see Add Variables)
